BSL-3 & ABSL-3 Lab

This remodel provides the capability to conduct high biocontainment research at the BSL-3 enhanced level. The suite is entirely stand-alone and isolated from the remainder of the building. It has its own HVAC system with exhaust HEPA filtration. Pass-through autoclaves are provided to be shared between the laboratory and animal sides of the suite, and therefore provide redundancy without crossover.
